Students have a lot to deal with in terms of Classes, Assignments, Exams, Internship, etc. apart from learning new skills and exploring various opportunities. Hence at Gujarat Arts and Commerce College we firmly believe in extracurricular activities and encourage our students to actively participate in a range of activities. Gymkhana is one of the vital part of the college which provides opportunities to students in Sports. Since long time sports were seen only as a fitness activity. Apart from physical strength, it builds discipline, confidence, team spirit, and accountability. We at Gujarat Arts and Commerce College give priority to sporting event and there is a special Gymkhana Committee to support the same. From expert training to organizing various sports events during the year, Gymkhana contributes in overall development of students. We believe in holistic development of students, by encouraging a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities.<\/span><\/p>

We have a grounds for various games such as Hockey, Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi etc. and indoor facilities for Table-Tennis, Chess, Gym, etc. We encourage students to participate in various University inter-college competitions held during the year such as Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cycling, Power-lifting, Weight-lifting, Athletics, etc. Our students get selected at Zone Level and All India Level University Games in for Cycling, Yogasana, Archery, Kabaddi, Handball, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Table Tennis, Power Lifting, etc. Gujarat Arts and Commerce College has proudly been Champion as well as Runners up till date during many years in games such as Hockey-Boys and Girls, Kabaddi-Boys and Girls, Cycling, Power Lifting, Archery, Cricket etc.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
