Eco club is <\/em>Environmental activity programme Under the Ministry of <\/em>Environment and Forests, Government of India. <\/em>It is empowering students to explore environmental concepts and actions beyond the confines of a syllabus or curriculum. While everyone, everywhere, asserts the importance of \u2018learning to live sustainably,\u2019 environment remains a peripheral issue in the formal schooling system.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Gujarat Arts & Commerce College (Evening) had also taken an initiative to promote <\/em>environmental activities with the support of National Green Corps (NGC), Gir Foundation, Gandhinagar. The Eco Club <\/em>(It is also known as VAN Vihar) has been started from 2018.<\/em> The Institution Eco club is empowering students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents and neighbourhood communities to promote sound environmental behaviour.The Institution Eco club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation.<\/p>
