The college has constituted the Women Development Cell. The cell, with the Principal as the Chairperson, comprises five  members from the teaching staff, one of them is convenor of committee . The primary objectives are prevention of sexual harassment and promotion of general wellbeing of the female student. It organizes a series of workshops, lectures, discussions and film screening to sensitize the young minds regarding gender related issues. It awakens and empowers women with various activities such as a self -defence course.

Mission

Objectives
  • Promote gender sensitization among students and staff.
  • Create awareness about women’s rights, legal provisions, and government welfare schemes.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and awareness campaigns on women’s issues.
  • Conduct self-defense training, health and hygiene awareness, and mental wellness programs.
  • Encourage leadership, entrepreneurship, and career development among women students.
  • Provide guidance, counseling, and support for academic, personal, and social issues.
  • Prevent sexual harassment and coordinate with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) whenever required.
  • Celebrate important national and international events such as International Women’s Day and National Girl Child Day.
  • Promote community outreach activities related to women empowerment.
